FINE Mid-1800s Pistols with FOLDING TRIGGERS
Here we present a nicely engraved Pair of Antique Belgian Boxlock Folding Trigger Pistols, made circa 1850 in Liege. These little self-defense pistols would have been most at home in the pocket of anyone in the busy cities of Europe during the mid-1800s.
The overall condition is fine. Bright finish. The actions are excellent and strong. The bores are clean and bright with sharp rifling. The ivory grips shows some use and any cracks are stable. The pommels on these little pistols have a swiveling cap trap hidden within. A fantastic set that would look great on display!
