Description:
Born June of 1941, this 2nd variation Walther P38 is a looker. It retains much of its original hi gloss blue finish and the bore is very good. The serialized parts are all matching and can be found on the left side of the frame and slide, the front of the barrel, on the locking block, and on the magazine floor plate lip. The slide, frame, grips, and the correct small parts are appropriately marked and German military proofed. A common occurrence with these WWII P38's, the safety functions but the decocker lever will not fully turn and engage without tension first being released and held on the hammer.
