Description:
Serial #140-07888, .45 Caliber Percussion, 7 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Ruger model Old Army black powder pistol manufactured in 1973 (second year of production). In excellent condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 96-98% of the original blue finish showing only light handling marks, slight wear at the muzzle and a slight drag line on the cylinder. The walnut grips rate excellent. It comes in the original red and black Ruger cardboard box with the correct hand numbering on the side showing older tape repairs and includes the manual and paperwork. An excellent, early Old Army.
