Description:
Outstanding condition MX8 Special combo with 31.5” O/U barrel (fixed chokes) and 34” top single barrel with Tom Wilkinson screw-in chokes. Both barrel sets have been fully worked-over by Wilkinson.
All numbers match. Mechanical condition is outstanding. Both barrels open smoothly without flopping. Top lever sits well to the right with either barrel, indicating a freshly-fitted locking block. The breech face has been machined for a new insert, meaning the breechface and firing pin holes are fresh (see photos).
The double-release trigger unit is numbers-matched to the gun, and features internal barrel selection.
