Description:
Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall, chambered in .22 Short. Features include: 24 inch octagon barrel, walnut stock and forearm, crescent metal buttplate, falling block action. This 1885 is in fair condition. The bluing on the barrel has turned to a brown patina and the metal does have a few scuff marks and gouges towards the end, but there appears to be no sign of rust. The wood forearm and stock are in complete condition despite some scuff marks here and there. The receiver has lost all its color case-hardening that it should have. The bore appears to have some wear, but it is clean. Rifle appears to function just fine. Serial Number indicates a manufacture date of 1892. .22 Short
