This is a Colt Model 1903 in .32 ACP with original Parkerized finish and marked US Property that was made at Colt back in 1943 or 1944 for issue to the US Military or OSS. It is in superb original condition. Bore is mirror bright, slide is matching numbers (inside). Walnut checkered grips are correct and original. The Colt marked magazine is correctly blue finish. The inspecor's Acceptance marks is a discreet punch dot above the VP. Punch dot is just one of several ways these were accepted. Guns in the serial numbers immediately close to this one went to the OSS. Only a letter from Springfield research will tell for sure what branch of the military or secret service it was sent to.
