This unique Model 70 is a very well-made premier edition. This is a Rock Mountain Elk Foundation Sponsor Rifle. The R.M.E.F is a conservation and hunting organization founded in Montana in the early 80's. These rifles would be given in a drawing to individuals or companies who would sponsor trips and donate a certain amount to the organization. This rifle is chambered in 338 Winchester Magnum, sporting a 24-inch barrel, this gun is a fine piece ready for your collection. The floor plate has a man on horseback leading two horses, which are carrying his game across the scene.
