Description:
Here is an 1878 Colt DA made in 1901. Barrel in 4&3/4". Finish is pretty much patina but no rust and any pitting is minor and pictured. Bore is excellent. Action works fine and the lock up is good. Grips are well-worn but all there and sound with no cracks or chips. Some one used this gun a lot but took good care of it. All numbers match. After a check with a competent gunsmith it could be fired with black powder or reduced cowboy loads. As it's 2 years too new to qualify as an antique it needs either an ffl or a C&R for shipping. Shipping and insurance included in the price.
