IT IS.44-40 MY ERROR! Here is a Smith and Wesson Double Action First Model with a good bore. Some mild roughness but good rifling and will shoot just fine. Action works fine. Original factory nickel has flacked some but overall not a bad looking gun at all. Grips are excellent and all there with no chips or cracks. A nice big old west 6 shooter that qualifies as an antique as all frames were made prior to 1899. No paperwork required. Shipping and insurance included in the price.THIS IS NOT .44 RUSSIAN- MY ERROR- IT'S .44-40!
I shot this revolver and everything works fine. Double action is a strong pull but aren't they all from this era?
