Description:
This bolt action rifle is a Winchester Model 70 Custom Sporter chambered in .300 Win Mag. It has a Pachmayr rubber butt pad, diamond checkering on fore arm and stock, cut checkering, studs for a sling top and bottom, and has mounts for a scope. The receiver has the standard "WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK" on the side wall with the serial number on the right side of the receiver ring. This Classic Sporter features a full-length claw extractor, receiver mounted ejector, coned breech and controlled round feeding (CRF). Bolt has matching serial number. This firearm is in overall good condition furniture and metal. It has custom ported barrel slots. The controlled round feed Model 70 was reintroduced in 1992. .300 Winchester Magnum
