This Winchester 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle in .25 Rim Fire is in very good condition. This 129-year-old Winchester was produced in 1893. The .25 Rim Fire cartridge may be obsolete, but many gunsmiths have been converting these old match rifles to modern rimfire and centerfire cartridges. The receiver frame and barrel are very good. The receiver frame has evidence of factory case color hardening, while the 24" blued barrel has a rich blue finish. The 24" octagon barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory smooth dark walnut stock is very good with only minor scratches and handling marks. The curved smooth trigger is firm and crisp on release. This Winchester may be a wall hanger or the beginning of a converted match grade rifle. This Winchester rifle comes with no box or any other accessories. .25 RF
