SAVAGE MODEL 1903 .22 S, L & LR PUMP RIFLE, #42XXX, MADE 1903-1916. Very fine takedown, 24" octagon rifle from the Pre-World War I era. This one shows fine deep blue on the barrel with only some light edge wear and very minor scattered freckling from age only. The receiver also shows fine high polish Savage blue with light age and edge wear. Only the upper & lower tangs and bottom of the trigger guard show blue wear to gray. Fine wood, tight action, sharp markings, tight takedown, exc. bright bore. This one recently came out of here in Montana.
