I am listing probly one of the nicest Remington model 742 in 30-06 here that has been listed in a long time this rifle was purchased new by my grandfather along with the redfield scope and leapold mounts the gun has only been shot 3x it comes with the original owners manual there is not hardly a scratch or mark on this rifle my grandpa has had it in a glass showcase for many years it is in pristine condition the gun also comes with the original scope covers for the redfield scope of you are looking for a like new 742 this might be your chance to own one my grandpa has since passed away so we are selling this very very nice rifle you will be hard pressed to find one nicer gun must be shipped from my local FFL to your local FFL as I am a private party buyer is responsible for shipping costs on top of the purchase price this is my cell number 608-304-8781 a very nice rifle will take best reasonable offer but no unreasonable offer as you dont find many 742's in the condition this one is in I rate this gun a strong 9 out of 10 calls or texts between the hrs of 430am -930pm central time are welcome no calls or texts please after 930 pm as i am up early on my farm i have been asked by a few people if would sell this rifle without the scope no i will not this scope was put on this rifle new when the gun was new these redfield scopes are some of the best scopes they ever made i have 3 of them just like the one on this rifle and i wouldnt trade any of them for anything i would put them up against a leupold anyday please check out my other listing for a super nice rossi single shot heavy varmint barrel in the 243 caliber which my son purchased new in like new condition *PLEASE NOTE this rifle will be listed here on the guns international until 9-22-2023 at which point I will remove it and purchase it from my family for my daughter who will be starting to hunt next year we are settling the estate this week so its only going to be listed for another week this is a very very nice rifle you dont want to miss out on *UPDATE MY OTHER LISTING HAS SOLD THE 243*
