Description:
Rock Island 1903 rifle. Pre WWI 1913 receiver with original 2-13 dated Rock Island barrel. Almost impossible to find a pre WWI 1903 that retains its original barrel after surviving 2 world wars. Fitted with a Raritan Arsenal 2 bolt stock with an RA-P cartouche and a circle "P" just behind the trigger guard. Bore still has deep rifling but it is frosty. Serial number is 225588. Correct "straight " handle bolt. Has correct proof marks on the underside of the barrel. Overall the rifle is in great condition with a lot of original quenched bluing remaining and no rust.
