Description:
This is a rare Papa Nambu made in the early 1920s. Most Papa Nambu pistols were Navy issued and marked with an anchor. This one was Army issued, as best we can tell due to the lack of anchor marking. Made in the Tokyo Arsenal. It is all matching and comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. There is very little actual finish loss on the gun, but there are areas of minor pitting throughout (typical), most obvious on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is tiny pitting throughout.
