Description:
This unique little Colt pocket pistol was part of a Cabela's Columbus recent gun acquisition. Manufactured in 1921 this little fella sports standard patent markings on the left side of the slide, with matching serials on the frame and slide, original colt grips, and a factory blade front sight and u-notch rear. Designed by John Moses Browning in 1908 it was marketed as a small concealable firearm which could be easily tucked into a jacket pocket for inconspicuous carry. The thumb safety on the left side of the frame doubles as a slide catch, and features an equally excellent condition 6 round magazine with the later version safety disconnect, and a grip safety. The bore is very bright with crisp rifling with the metal in fantastic condition, appearing to have been reblued at some point in the past. Overall a great collectable little pistol that would make a phenomenal addition to any firearms' collection. .25 ACP
