STEYR MANNLICHER SCHOENAUER MODEL 56 MC OR MCA .243 WIN. RIFLE WITH B&L SCOPE CIRCA 1958. Serial number "25XXX". 22" barrel with rear leaf folding sight and front blade on ramp. Very little used with mint bore. "Stoeger / Austria" stamp and "Steyr" on floorplate of magazine(removable). "Steyr-Daimler-Puch, AG. Steyr" on left side wall where scope mount is. Leather Sling. Original light walnut checkered 1/2 stock with factory monte carlo pancake comb(correct). Original finish. Receiver and barrel with all original blue with no losses except where 'Made in Austria/ Original/ Mannlicher/Schoenauer/Mod. MC/ Kal. 243" is under Kuharsky bros. scope mount is drilled. Original swept back butter knife bolt handle smooth working with no play. Baush & Lomb "BAL SIX" 6x scope. Adjustable Kuharsky Bros mount that probably needs to be replaced or scope properly palce into it. Factory double set adjustable triggers crisp.
