Description:
Beautiful Factory Original Deluxe Marlin Model 97 rifle in .22 cal. This gun made originally with muzzle threaded for silencer which is rare. Has 24" full octagon barrel. Beautifully pattern checkered forend. Casehardened receiver with vivid color on left side. Pistol grip Deluxe American Walnut buttstock is beautifully checkered through the wrist, has Creedmore style grip and terminates with its original Marlin Co. buttplate. Gun is mounted with a Marbles tang sight as seen in the photos.
Gun remains in excellent original condition. Barrel with about 90% original blue. Frame with more than 70% original case color, mottled some on the right side, but gorgeous vivid on the left side. Stocks are excellent with some handling marks and retain most of their original finish. Bore is bright and shiny. Mechanics are excellent.
