Springfield Model 1898 Krag-Jorgensen Carbine in .30-40 Krag. SN #329808. Mfg. in 1901. CONVERTED TO A CARBINE BY SPRINGFIELD ARMORY. LOP 13 3/8". 22 1/2" Barrel with an EXCELLENT Bright Bore with STRONG RIFLING. The Blued Metal is in EXCELLENT condition for it's age. The Walnut stock and forend is in VERY GOOD condition for it's age with very light cartouches and proof marks. There remains a piece of cleaning rod lodged in the storage compartment in the stock.
