The period painting has him dressed in his Generals Uniform and Large Slouch Hat. This early painting is painted in an early gouache on thick black paper style. The painting itself measures 5 5/8 inches by 4 3/4 inches. The original period frame measures 7 inches by 6 inches. This Is A Very Rare Period Painting Of General George A. Custer During The Civil War. Very Few Of These Exist. It Would Be A Wonderful Addition To Any Collection!
