Here we have a CODY FIREARMS MUSEUM DOCUMENTED WINCHESTER GRAND AMERICAN 20 GAUGE SET, IN NEW AND UNFIRED CONDITION IN ITS FACTORY CASE COMPLETE WITH CANVAS COVER AND ACCESSORIES.  It is one of only 82 factory documented Grand American sets built in 20 gauge in all the world.  Most Grand American grade Model 21 guns have custom order features, and this one, snW33095 built in 1976, has many, the most notable being both sets of barrels (26” WS1/WS2 and 30” M/F) having 3" chambers, ventilated ribs, the original factory case and cover, and the finest exhibition wood with a factory applied hand-rubbed oil finish…all very desirable options on the 20-gauge guns.  The wood has phenomenal figure and B Carved checkering, and the gun remains in 100%, as new, unfired condition as serviced in 1981 at the factory and noted in the Winchester factory specifications and letter.  The factory case is in excellent condition as well, complete with the factory dust cover.  You will rarely see such a complete and untouched Grand American 20-gauge set.  The specifications of this gun, shown below, match the Winchester factory letter precisely.  Nothing has been altered since its last visit to the factory in 1981.

In the gun world, there are many guns that have been upgraded to a Grand American in the aftermarket.  ONLY GUNS THAT ARE FACTORY DOCUMENTED CAN BE RELIED UPON TO BE GENUINE, FACTORY ORIGINAL GRAND AMERICAN MODEL 21 GUNS.   Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing builds Grand American models in their shop, but they are NOT WINCHESTER GUNS AND DO NOT HAVE THE SAME VALUE AS A FACTORY DOCUMENTED WINCHESTER GUN.  I emphasize this information as there are prices all over the board on the internet, and guns that are factory documented are guns you will see valued at well over $45K.  As of this writing there was not one factory documented Winchester Grand American 20ga. that was still intact and matching the original specs for sale at any price.  NOTE: WE HAVE ORDERED AND WILL INSTALL THE LEATHER WINCHESTER MODEL 21 TRADE LABEL IN THE CASE WITHIN A FEW DAYS.

There are not many better investment guns that are more sought after or easier to sell in the future than a documented Winchester Grand American 20 gauge, especially with ventilated rib 30” barrels made for 3” magnum loads.  We have listed this Grand American at the best price you will ever find on a documented, as new condition Model 21 Grand American 20-gauge set.  Presented for sale just in time for the upcoming hunting/shooting seasons, don’t let this one get away.  It is the finest, most impressive Model 21 Grand American you are likely to encounter in a lifetime.  Thanks for looking!

We employ full time gunsmiths on premises and can perform alterations to suit your needs within a few weeks of purchase. Common requests are: -stock bending to suit your particular requirements -addition of any specified butt pad to increase length of pull -alteration of chokes to suit your shooting preferences -lengthening of chambers and forcing cones -darkening stock color with penetrating stains -restoring any part of the gun including rust blue, charcoal blue, bone and charcoal case color, wood restoration and checkering recuts. If you like one our guns but it needs "tweaked", let us know and we can quote you a time and price. Some enthusiasts like the guns "as found" and others want them "just so". We often list guns as found and let the particular buyer choose how they want their gun to fit or look.
