Description:
This Model 19-4 was produced in 1979 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the California Highway Patrol. Standard features include a 6-inch barrel, single action/double action, 6-shot fluted cylinder and is chambered for the .357 magnum cartridge while able to shoot .38 special. Other features include an adjustable rear sight, a case colored target hammer and trigger and smooth wood grips with silver medallion. The barrel stamps are filled in with gold-"CHP Commemorative Revolver 1929 - 1979" on the right side with "Smith & Wesson .357 magnum" on the left side. The California Highway Patrol star is on the rear right side of the frame, also filled in with gold. This revolver comes with its original display case, fitted into a blue velvet lining that has the California Association of Highway Patrolmen embossed on top along with the S&W logo.
