"Serial number 99664. Made in 1872. 44 RF caliber with a 20" barrel. This is an absolutely fantastic L. D. Nimschke engraved and signed Winchester 1866. This gun is in very fine condition with approximately 50% of the original blue finish. The frame has approximately 50% of the Gold plate finish on the engraved frame. Behind the trigger is Nimschke’s signature “L.D.N." The engraving is nice and sharp and has the classic Nimschke style scrolls with banners on each side. The left side banner has the initials “C. Ch." The wood is deluxe with nice figure in the stock. There are light handling marks. The stock is all original with original varnish still present. This stock is also matching to the gun. This is an absolutely fantastic engraved Winchester 1866 saddle ring carbine!
