It is a late 1938 early 39 model with a 23" barrel and cross bolt safety. The tang is factory drilled and tapped as are all early model 63. The bore is excellent. The wood has its original finish and there's no significant scratch or damage and there are no cracks at all. The gun presents well and function is flawless. The largest distraction is a spot of rust on the barrel right side 5 inches from the muzzle as shown in the photo please enlarge for better understanding. There are no missing or changed parts. This rifle is a high quality tack driver as are all model 63. It is a take down model. Being 85 years old and used  it has minor cosmetic flaws as described here so I expect a happy buyer and no returns. no lower offers will be accepted.
