Ruger M77 Round Top, in 270 Winchester caliber. This rifle was built for a Ruger Executive in 1971. The rifle is in excellent condition with minor hunting indents. I purchased in 1985. Due to the incredible wood on the rifle, I contacted Ruger and was told it was built for a Ruger Executive.
The action has been professionally glass bedded and the forearm floated. Please see pictures to inspect the excellent quality of this work. The trigger breaks crisp at 2lbs.14oz. I shoot my own handloads and the rifle groups 1 1/2" at 300 yards. Since I have owned the rifle I have shot only 77 rounds. When I purchased rifle it showed little to no use.
The scope in the photos is NOT included. The scope bases are included along with the rear sight which I removed when mounting the scope. There is no box or paperwork.
I am selling some of my firearms due to the lack of interest of my sons or grandchildren.
This is an awesome rifle with an interesting history.
