Up foris a pair of Lahti M40 pistols chambered in 9mm!!!! The two pistols in this lot feature consecutive serial numbers/ Danish Police markings. Each has the Danish Rigspoliti markings but the serial numbers do not have the D prefix. They also have the Swedish SS inspector marking where the HV marking would usually be on a Danish gun. In 1943 Sweden began training Norwegian and Danish refugees. In 1944 the Danish brigade trained in exile with Swedish weaponry taken directly from army stores.These pistols being in the 68000 serial number range with the SS inspector markings fall within the range given to the Danes. After the war these pistols ended up with the Danish police along with the properly imported pistols. Each pistol includes the original holster and some police medallions from Denmark. These pistols are an interesting piece of world history and are in great condition given the age (Pre 1946) IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ...PLEASE ASK!! 3% surcharge for all credit cards.
