This is a 1st Model early production 50 Cal. Gallagher 1860 Carbine. It is serial number 2781 and was made in 1861 or 1862.It has the lockplate marked Gallagher Patented Dec. 17, 1860. The Bore is very good showing all lands and grooves. The stock has some nicks and scratches. The metal is smooth with no pitting. The action works fine as does half cock and full cock. Shipping is $45.00 to the lower 48. AL.CA, HI, OR, and pays $60.00 via Priority Mail and includes tracking and insurance. Money back if not satisfied with the buyer paying the return shipping.
