Description:
A very nice 20 gauge over-under Beretta 687 Gold for sale. It was made in 1988-89. It features 3" chambers, 28 inch barrels with a ivory mid bead and brass front bead, upgraded nicely figured walnut stocks and a gloss finish. It has a gold pheasant on the left side and a gold duck on the right. The gold alone is od significant value. The LOP is an astounding 14 5/8" to the pad. It comes with 6 total choke tubes; 2 skeet chokes and IC, M, IM, and F (all internal) and the choke wrench with the thread cleaner. The gun is in excellent shape and the action is still pretty stiff. The wood and finish are excellent except for a 1/4" nick near the top of the wrist and a 1/2" dent on the top of the comb that looks like a matted rib was pressed into the wood. Please see the pictures. There one small wear spot where the barrels meet the forend wood on the inside. See photos. The gun when assembled looks amazing for its age of 35ish years. I have shot the gun one round of skeet and it functions flawlessly, however the LOP is too long for me and that is why I am offering it for sale. It comes in a very nice presentation case that has combination locks that have yet to be set, they still have the small bars inserted in them, so the future can set them if they so choose.
