Description:
This 1975 rimfire lever-action rifle is a Marlin Original Golden-39A chambered for .22 S, L, or LR. It features a "JM" stamp on the barrel showing it was manufactured by the original Marlin team. The 39A is still considered one of the finest examples of a lever .22 rifle, and one of the most accurate .22 rifles ever produced. It is also the best-selling lever rimfire in U.S. history. It has a fixed hooded blade front sight, a Butterfly U-notch adjustable rear sight, a serrated gold trigger, sling loops top and bottom, hard black plastic grip cap and butt plate, with ivory colored spacers, a tube-fed magazine. It features Marlin's proprietary Micro-Groove rifling in a 1 in 16 in right-hand twist. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope mount. The overall bluing is in very good condition with only some slight loss near muzzle and with minor blemishes on either side of receiver. The Walnut wood finish is in generally good condition with a small mark on the fore arm, and a couple of scratches and marks on the butt stock. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
