Remington Model 241 Speedmaster Takedown .22 LR Rifle - Smooth 2 piece walnut pistol grip style stock and forend with metal butt plate in very good condition. 24 In. long barrel with open adj. rear sight and front bead sight. Butt feed tubular magazine. with 10 LR round capacity ammo only. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with minimal handling marks. This John Browning design is similar to the Browning model SA-22 , both being takedown models whereby the barrel separates from the receiver with a twist lock design. New soft sleeve included. The overall condition is excellent. Difficult to find in this condition. Manufactured from 1935 to 1951. This one was manufactured in 1949. Nice addition to any collection.
