Description:
Winchester 101 O/U shotgun 2-barrel set, 20 & 28 gauges. This is and always was a two barrel set! Both sets of barrels are 28", both choked Skeet/Skeet and both chambered for 2 3/4" shells. There is an anomaly (love that word): The 20 gauge barrels have a Simmons vent rib. We can only guess why! The 28 gauge barrels are factory original.
The blued metal surfaces are excellent since restoration (blued when the 20 gauge rib was added). The wood has, from 50 years of or so of light use, a number of light scuffs and finish "dings". Mechanically excellent.
The pistol grip butt stock has a 13 3/4" LOP over a 1" Pachmayr pad; 1 17/32" drop at the comb (just a little more than 1 1/2" and a little less that 1 9/16"), with 2 7/16" DAH. Neutral cast making the gun ideal for Skeet, upland birds, doves, etc.
