The buyer assumes the responsibility for transfer fees or background check fees that the receiving dealer will charge. It is also the buyer's responsibility to insure that the dealer will accept the firearm(s). It is strongly suggested that the buyer contact the dealer before the transfer of the gun to them for pick-up to insure that there are no problems with your transfer. If the dealer refuses to accept delivery of your firearm, you will be responsible for shipping charges to recover the firearm and reship it to a dealer that is willing to receive it.

Description:
Gewehr 98 Mauser in 7.92x57,(8mm Mauser). This rifle was reworked for WWII. Receiver made in Deutschmark Waffen Und Munitionsfabriken in Berlin, stamped 1915. Barrel has Nazi proof mark on left side and stamped 42 on the right side of the barrel. Receiver also has the German proof marks that it was repaired. Please look over the pics for more details. Both barrel bands have the same serial number. They don't match the receiver. Most of the rifles that were reworked like this were issued to boarder guards, 2nd line units, and various units usually not assigned to the front lines. Barrel and chamber look bright and shiny. Rifle functions nicely. This would make a nice addition to anyones collection.
