Description:
For your consideration, a Browning model 42 chambered in .410 Gauge. The receiver is adorned with an unsigned rendition of Winchester's 12-5 engraving motif. Consisting of scroll-bound scenes of a pair of pointers flushing a pheasant at left, and a quartet of ducks taking wing at right, the animals are inlaid with gold for a striking contrast with their environs. Furniture consists of gorgeously figured walnut with diamond insets on the pump. This piece is of Japanese manufacture. .410 Bore
