Description:
The Pedersoli Sharps Long Range 1874 is an accurate reproduction of the rifle Sharps Long Range model made in December of 1876, converting rifles with 32" (813 mm) barrels length to 34" (864 mm). At the beginning it was produced with a single trigger, only in February of 1879 some hundred pieces have been made with double set trigger. This rifle chambered in 45/70 govt with a 32 inch barrel. Capable of taking all varieties of North American big game, these reproductions are the ideal firearm for the hunter, shooter and collector looking for a unique piece that carries the history and romance of the American West. Color case-hardened receiver and hammer. Checkered walnut stock and forearm. Blued octagonal barrel. Adjustable rear sight and double-set trigger. Shoot a Davide Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Sporting Rifle and experience a piece of American history. This rifle has some surface rust on the hammer and right side of the frame, it also has serious pitting on the right side of the receiver. The bore is in good shape, sharp rifling. .45-70 Government
