W & C Scott & Son - The Premier Gun - Side Lock Ejector - 12ga, 2-1/2", IC / IM (.739 - .012 / .030) Wall Thickness .023, LOP 14-5/8", Drop 1-1/2" to 2-1/4", Neutral Cast, Weight 7 lbs. 2 oz.
The Whitworth fluid steel barrels have excellent bores, good wall thickness, properly timed ejectors, and ring very nicely. The barrels are sligtly loose in the action.
I believe the gun was built in the early 1890s for the U.S. Market. Seems to be an original configuration gun that has been restored.
