Metal is in excellent as refinished condition, with minor handling marks and scratches.
Wood is in excellent as refinished condition, with minor dings, scratches and handling marks. There is a dimple on the left side of the buttstock about 1 1/2" forward of the butt and below the comb where a dent or scratch has been sanded out before the refinish. It can only be seen when the light hits it just right (see pic #6, pic #24 shows it without the reflection), but you can feel it.
Bore is bright.
Overall, it is a nicely restored model 70 that has seen light use.
