Description:
This is a superior example of a Springfield M1 Garand CMP Rebuild. The receiver has a serial number dating to about May of 1942. Springfield barrel dated 1943. The bore has great rifling with no rust or corrosion. Muzzle reading: between 1.5-2.
All functional metal parts: barrel, operating rod, trigger housing group are lettered SA for Springfield Armory. Reciever is Springfield Armory.
New Walnut stock with CMP cartouche on left side of the stock. below the reciever.
