Savage model 99R in the hard to find 250-3000 Savage. Built in 1952,this rifle is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. This rifle is in remarkable all original condition. It retains 99% of the original blue and wood finishes. The lever retains 90% of the case colors. This model still has the lever safety and cartridge counter. this is a classic deer rifle from the early 1950s. It has a period correct Burris Scopechief 3x9 scope installed. This scope has a unique reticle that has a standard crosshair reticle and by turning a ring you can bring up a European post reticle sighted in a the same inpact point. The rifle comes with 41/2 boxes of factory 100 grain ammo, C&R eligible. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
