Description:
This is a late war Inland Division original M1A1 paratrooper stock in excellent condition overall. As we have seen on most of the M1A1 stocks, this IO marked stock has had the interior forward block removed so that it could accomodate the full select fire to full auto parts kits. This was done at the unit level for the most part, and was accomplished in a number of ways...
In any case, this stock is in great shape, and includes an IO marked hand guard as well. The wood is pretty well clear of dings, scratches or gouges... There is only a slight dent where the butt plate contacts the stock when in the folded position. What looks like a crack in the wood at the rear of the stock is as solid as can be and does not effect the stock function in any way . The stock locks open and closed solidly, as designed.
