Description:
This is a full box, 20 rounds, of .45-70 ammunition manufactured by Winchester. The two piece buff box with yellow and black label has the High Velocity Soft point over labeled "HIGH VELOCITY CARTRIDGES REQUIRE SPECIAL SIGHT ADJUSTMENT" with "Adapted to Winchester Model 86 Repeating Rifle" call out. The box is solid with light age soiling, writing on one side, seam split on a top corner with old repair to the other and missing label. The cartridges all have the high velocity "W.R.A. Co. 45-70 W.H.V." head stamps with two different bullet types including 3 solid soft point and the balance hollow soft point.
