This 1938-dated revolver has matching numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel with the metal retaining about 95-97% of the original matte blue finish that has mild silvering along the high edges and projections. All markings are strong, including the Farsi markings on the right rear of the frame, and the left rear of the barrel. London commercial proofs are present on the left side of the barrel as well. The grooved wooden grips are in very good shape with handling marks and wear present on both panels. An Iranian inventory tag is attached to the trigger guard with the serial number written in Farsi numerals, "3733." The action lock-up is tight and fully functional, and this is a fine example of a pre-war, Iranian-issued revolver. FFL or C&R SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
