This is a recent trade-in/consignment we aquired this week. This is a very early 6 digit Rem-Rand frame (947949) 1911 with colt slide, service grade from the CMP. I do not see any pitting or rust on this pistol. It was made in 1943 and looks amazing for the life it lived. Please look at all of the pictures as they will probably be able to tell you more about this firearm than I can. The Rem-Rand M1911A1 strarted production in 1943 with serial numbers 916405-1041404 for 1st group, then 1279699-1441430 for the second group. Asking $1750 obo Thank you
