Description:
Very scarce early Colt black powder .41 caliber shipped in 1892. Single action SAA .41 with 5 1/2 barrel with pearl grips. You just don't see many .41's this early. Nice old original gun with well worn pearls. Matching serial numbers. The back strap has old corrosion and harder to photograph but the serial numbers match. I don't clean these to show photos better. The grips show cowboy use and some repairs but are solid and usable.
I don't have the letter but configuration is as it was sent from Colt to Simmons in 1892. 5 1/2 barrel, blue without mention of grip type.
Action is good and tight with typical black powder bore ( which means functional for a 132 year old gun but you can't see your reflection in it). I like old Colts and will always discuss trade options or offers.
