Description:
24 inch barrel and magazine tube have been freshened up and have areas of pitting showing a dark gray patina overall. Bright shiny bore is better than most. Barrel markings are partially obscured. Original folding elevator rear sight and replacement German silver blade front sight. Brass had been polished some time ago and is starting to age back to a light caramel patina. Solid walnut stock has been freshened with a coat of varnish added. Wood is a little bit undersized. Correct brass rifle style buttplate and sling swivels. Lever is slightly bent. Excellent mechanics. 26,XXX serial number range made in 1869.
