Description:
Ever so rarely does one of these wonderful MacNaughton Round Body Guns come up for sale and this one (year 1902) is a beauty !! 99% barrel blacking with sharp and well cut engraving (including rib AND barrel bands!) Pendulum safety. Beautiful figured walnut stock (old refinish) with very well done leather pad (one of the nicest I've seen !!) Well balanced at the hingepin and feels lighter between the hands. Barrels are 28 " and have ORIGINAL chokes as marked !! Overall I would say that ALL the engraving is STILL very sharp with no badly worn areas. The prices for Scottish Round Body Trigger Plate actions (Dicksons are crazy priced) have gone through the roof in recent years so this one is a very good buy at $10050 with Shipping to your FFL !!! This is your chance to own a MacNaughton from THE maker who invented the Scottish Round Body trigger plate. Don't pass up this chance...you may never see another this nice at this price. (note change in barrel length...28") Thanks for looking !! PRICE REDUCED to $10050 SHIPPED for an original (non sleeved) Scottish Round Body !!!
