Description:
Model G Autoloader was the first gas operated rifle in the USA. 22 inch round barrel chambered in 30 Rem caliber that retains about 90% blue. Original sights include ivory bead front sight and folding tang sight. The receiver has about 90%. Overall gun is in fine shape with fancy wood. Bronze cast buttplate and forearm. Gas port can be closed and the gun functions as a slide action rifle. Nice original gun. Only about 7,000 made in 1910.
