1970 vintage Colt 2nd Generation Single Action Army revolver, serial number 56071SA. 4 - 3/4" round barrel chambered in .45 Colt with blade front sight and frame notch rear. 2 piece factory imitation ivory grips featuring a gold Rampant Colt medallion on either side. CONDITION: Excellent+, with virtually all of the original bluing remaining on barrel, cylinder, and front and backstraps. Frame retains bright case colors with minor pitting on left side near recoil shield. Cylinder has a ghost of a dragline, but appears to have been cycled very little. Grips are excellent+ with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. Barrel Length: 4-3/4" Caliber/Bore: .45 colt . Gun appears unfired since factory. Comes in colorful Colt Stagecoach box with owners papers and cardboard divider intact, in same excellent condition as gun. Some proud owner set this gem aside and put away since 1970 almost untouched. Since passed on from original owner, a chance to own a virtually new 1970 Colt SAA in the best configuration and caliber, in Colts best box ever.
