IT HAS RETAINED ABOUT 99+% OF THE ORIGINAL FACTORY FINISH. THE LITTLE LOSS THERE IS, IS DUE TO SOME SLIGHT SHARP EDGE SIVERING AND TWO OR THREE SMALL BLEMISHES ON THE LEFT REAR OF THE SLIDE. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME FOR ANY 83 YEAR OLD MILITARY TRAINING PISTOL. ALL PARTS MATCH AND ARE ORIGINAL TO THE PISTOL**. THE GRIPS STRAPS SHOW NO SIGN OF GRAYING.
