My son won this brand new Henry Classic Big Boy, 44 Mag/Spl, 20-inch octagonal barrel, 10-round capacity rifle at a sporting clays match. He gave it to me to use in my new hobby, Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS). Just to check it out I fired exactly 30 rounds through it. It performed perfectly. I did a thorough cleaning. Unfortunately the rifle is the wrong caliber for me to use in CAS. I have an uncontrollable tremor in both hands so reloading my own cartridges is not an option for me. I have to buy new ammo specially made for CAS. The price of 44 Specials is about twice the price for 38 Specials. I was able to buy a used 1866 Uberti rifle from a CAS member who is no longer competing. Nlow I need to sell the Henry to pay for the Uberti. When I cleaned the Henry rifle using brass polish made by Henry, I accidentally left a spot of the polish on the fore end. The next day it had created a small divot in the walnut wood. (See picture). I obtained a new fore end from the Henry factory and I will include it in the rifle box. The price has been discounted to make up for my mistake. The rifle comes with the original box, manual, receiver sock and other included papers. (See picture).
