This is the rarest of all Colt 1911 magazine variations - a Type 1 magazine with exposed floor plate. Only the first 4500 or so Colt 1911 .45 pistols were equipped with these. If you are lucky to own one of these early guns - this is the correct magazine for it. It is in excellent original condition with minor wear as pictured. You can see the exposed sides of the floor plate in the pictures as well.
